own universe around us is open to explore, whether
using our own eyes, binoculars or astronomy telescopes,
A visual visit to our moon or our relative planets
and on to other galaxies, star formations, nebulas,
comets, can keep our interest peaked for some time........
Total Eclipse of the Moon on March 3, 2007 as seen from Thunder Bay.
This image is near the end of the eclipse.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month, at Confederation
College's Shuniah Building, Room 379. We usually start at 7:30
pm. We do not meet during the months of July and August. Our
gatherings are very informal, with usually some talks or guest
speakers scheduled. Interested persons and students taking
the "reBackyard Astronomy" course are most welcome.
